AML Spotlight: daybreak psychosis

Today in the Spotlight… daybreak psychosis.

Imagine it’s 3:17 am and you can’t go to sleep. Your body won’t let you because your mind is racing—spinning really, thinking about kinds of things. Maybe what sorts of things your neighbors can hear through the walls and what they may be thinking about you. Or how differently you could have handled that dumb situation at work. Thinking so hard on it like you perhaps change its outcome. You can’t though… But still… Or simply not wanting to see that dream again or face what comes tomorrow brings.

Anxiety. It is this late-night anxiety (as we call it) that we initially wanted to capture with daybreak psychosis. The project has gone through a number of changes since we’ve started but anxiety is very much still at the core of the story and its characters’ plights. Telling an anxiety-based horror was an interesting proposal and challenge for us and I hope this uniqueness came through in our teasers for the show.

With that said, please take a look at daybreak psychosis and let us know what you think by taking a simple Survey (also, commenting). Thanks, and seeya next time!
