Today in the Spotlight… Mild
Education.
Part 1: LIMIT_R.
As the host of the show, LIMIT_R is the catalyst for everything
in terms of worldbuilding. LIMIT_R, as he calls himself, is the Least Important
Man in the Room, in this world, really—he’s a loser hijacking the airwaves of the
company he works at to put on a little show where he can be someone important
with a grandiose title. Someone who can impart wisdom to his audience and give
them the knowledge and the courage to be better than himself and maybe even rise
up in their world.
The character is in part inspired by Howard Beale from the
movie Network (1976). Which is why each episode ends with LIMIT_R trying to
stir up the audience into action. Though, LIMIT_R is a more pathetic character
than Mr. Beale who prior to his movie was a respected news anchor. LIMIT_R is
just a nobody, though unlike Beale, LIMIT_R may hold some truly dark secrets.
Anyway, that’s all for today. Please give us feedback on the show by taking a quick Survey (and/or commenting below). Au revoir, hasta luego, seeya soon.
